Looking. Always looking.
The study of composition is what sustains me and now I can see, it is what has always been present and brought me full circle — from childhood museum trips with my mother to the study of art history at the University of Michigan to a job in fashion at Esprit to my work as a photographer today.
Not terribly surprised to find my passion for telling a visual story has become my work. I have always admired interiors and the activities of life for their visual forms, textures, shapes and scale. My work is never about the brand of any single object. Rather the balance, the still life of a room in a house, a building on a street, a horse in a field or a person in a place they love.
Light, mood and a sense of humanity is what I want to bring to my photographs. Honored by an eye for classical motifs and deep relationships with designers and editors I strive for a rich collaboration with every client.
When not behind the camera, I can be found hanging around another great love of mine — my family. 3 terrific kids, 1 fab husband and 2 spirited dogs — in Fairfield CT.
This work totally fills my cup. I hope we'll meet one day soon.
